Contents and product details
MALABAR SPINACH / BASELLA ALBA - Popular climbing leafy vegetable also searched as Poi Saag, Pui Saag, Pui Shak and climbing spinach; develops thick, glossy edible leaves.
Sowing and growing guidance
CLIMBING LEAFY VEGETABLE - Unlike ordinary low-growing spinach, Malabar Spinach develops vigorous vines and performs best when provided with a trellis, net, stakes or other climbing support.
SUITABLE FOR HOME GROWING - Can be grown in home gardens, kitchen gardens, terrace gardens, balconies and sufficiently large containers when adequate sunlight, soil, moisture and climbing support are provided.
Soaking the hard seeds before sowing can assist germination. Sow in fertile, well-draining soil, maintain even moisture and provide support as vines establish.
