Sthalapadma Live Flowering Plant Hibiscus mutabilis. BloomTopia Sthalapadma is a live Hibiscus mutabilis nursery plant, also known as Sthal Padma, Sthal Kamal, Cotton Rose and Land Lotus. You receive a young rooted plant; size, branching, foliage and flowering stage can vary naturally with season and growth.
Plant details and growing expectations
Hibiscus mutabilis develops into a large spreading flowering shrub or small tree with lobed green foliage and large ornamental blooms. The species is known for flowers that can deepen from pale or white to pink as they mature; flower form and colour intensity can vary.
Nursery-grown stock is selected and quality checked before dispatch and packed to reduce movement during transit. Live plants can show natural variation or temporary travel stress such as mild drooping or leaf loss; unpack promptly and allow the plant to acclimatise.
Growing conditions and care
Grow outdoors in full sun to partial shade, preferably with strong light for good growth and flowering. Use fertile, organic-rich, well-drained loamy soil. Water to keep the root zone evenly moist during active growth without prolonged waterlogging.
Choosing a growing location
Best suited to home gardens, backyards and landscape planting where the shrub has room to spread. It can also be maintained in a large outdoor container with adequate root space, sunlight, drainage and pruning; it is not an indoor houseplant.
Common questions
Will the plant arrive in flower?
